MY Story
Becky Harris, the founder of Confection Connection, is a passionate baker and entrepreneur dedicated to bringing delicious treats to the Albion community and beyond. Originally from Buffalo, Becky made the move to Albion in pursuit of her dream of owning a bakery. Together with her husband Adrian, an organic farmer, they found the perfect location to blend their passions – a quaint white house at 223 South Main Street.
Confection Connection officially opened its doors in August 2023, offering a delightful array of baked goods, coffee, and more. From royal iced decorated cookies to cakes, cupcakes, pastries, and even vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options, Becky's bakery has something for everyone. Catering services are also available for various events, ensuring that every occasion is sweetly memorable.
Becky's journey into baking began in 2018 when she took on the task of creating all the treats for her own wedding. Her passion for baking flourished, leading her to become a registered home processor in New York State. As demand for her baked goods grew, she realized the need for a dedicated space and thus, Confection Connection was born.
Looking to the future, Becky is already working on expanding Confection Connection into a café, offering affordable and healthy breakfast and lunch options alongside her bakery delights. With plans to upgrade her food certificate with the Health Department and incorporate vegetables and produce from her husband's farm, Becky envisions Confection Connection as a true "farm to oven" bakery and "farm to table" café.
Be sure to stop by Confection Connection at the corner of Meadowbrook Drive and South Main Street to satisfy your sweet cravings and support a local business. And don't forget to spread the word to your friends and family – Becky looks forward to welcoming you with a smile and a delicious treat!
